Pastor Golisch was born in West Allis, Wisconsin, but spent most of his formative years living in Michigan. Pastor Golisch graduated high school in 1988 from Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in 1992 from Northwestern College in Watertown, Wisconsin. He received his Masters of Divinity degree in 1996 from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin.

From 1996-2003, Pastor Golisch served Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Martinez, Georgia. Since June of 2003, he has served King of Kings. He has also served congregations in Irmo, South Carolina; Savannah, Georgia; Litchfield, Minnesota; Petoskey, Michigan; Novi, Michigan; and Nashua, New Hampshire in various ways for various lengths of time.

Although Pastor Golisch grew up in the greater Detroit area, he is comfortable in the big city or out in the wide-open country, up north or down south, on land or on the water. His interests include all sorts of sports, jigsaw puzzles, and being a father to his three sons and a husband to his wife. They’ve been married since 1994.

Dawn was born and raised in the farm country of the Midwest. She is married and has one son. Dawn came to Florida in 1980 after graduating from Martin Luther College. She was called to King of Kings in 1988.

Teaching is Dawn’s love and passion. Dawn considers it a blessing to work with Christian children on a daily basis. She is very thankful that the Lord is allowing her to serve him in this capacity. To Dawn, each day is fresh, new, exciting, and sometimes a challenge. Dawn really enjoys the wisdom and understanding her students share with her.
