Grades 3-5 Homework Assignments, August 20

Greek New Testament: Today we learned about the word "agnoia" when means "ignorance". Sometimes the truth that we so desperately need is right in front of us-- God's Word. No homework, but we pray that our hearts and minds seek to always learn from God's Word daily. 

Math 3 = Lesson 2A & B 

Math 4 = p. 5 #5-20, p.7 #3-8

Math 5 = p. 3 #1-25 

Reading = The Bicycle Spy Chapter 1 Study Guide (Vocabulary can be found in the Glossary in the back of the book, the questions are all based on Chapter 1) 

Social Studies = None today, but we are continuing to learn about Floridian Native American cultures tomorrow. 

German = To coincide with our novel in reading, we are learning about World War 2. Today's topic was focused on the Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler and who he was before the war. No assignment today. 

Latin = We learned about the different forms of love -- amo, amas, amat, amamus, amatis, amant ; Wordsearch assignment due Wednesday August 22. 

 

*Wednesday = You are invited to chapel at 8:05am. This week's theme is : Who can you trust? Can you really trust God? 

* Volleyball practice after school from 3:15-4:00 this Tuesday and Thursday.
